To reach Knockchree, turn right from the car park and walk around 200m up Ballymageogh Road and turn left at a track. Pass a gate and a white holiday cottage on your left, go past another gate gate to arrive at the path that leads to the summit straight ahead. There is a path that leads to the left also.
As you walk up Knockchree, look behind to see the Mourne mountains to the North.
